Over the next few weeks, primary schools have got KS2 SATs, KS1 SATs, Y1 phonics screening check and Y4 multiplication check. That's a huge amount of not massively useful data to gather, and it's just going to get in the way of actual teaching and learning.

The Education Secretary Gillian Keegan may be "delighted" with the return to remote learning, but the pupils, parents and staff at St Leonard's Catholic School Durham certainly aren't. We need a clear plan that will see all pupils back in classrooms as soon as possible.
