It might be #BlueMonday, but we're pretty sure reading together can turn that around! Research shows that reading supports children's wellbeing, self-esteem, and emotional regulation all year round. Discover how here: booktrust.org.uk/what-we-do/imp…

Today’s Stone Age workshop was unforgettable! Year 3 built Stonehenge, dressed up as cavemen, and dug deep into history. We had the best time stepping back in time! Beechfield School HeadBeechfield Mrs Diwan

I was so impressed by the children in Oak class who bravely shared their beliefs and religions in today’s World Religion assembly! It was lovely to learn new things and hear such thoughtful insights from each of them. Well done ✝️☪️☸️🕉️ Beechfield School HeadBeechfield

What an afternoon! So very proud of Year 4 who won the Trust Rounders Tournament. Our children played great, cheered each other on, showed great sportsmanship and were fantastic representatives of Beechfield. Thank you to LHS for hosting and Mr Jarvis for arranging.

We had a wonderful day of learning, viewing and walking in the footsteps of kings and queens! This Year 4 trip to Hampton Court Palace has left the children wanting to learn more!

‘All about me’ was all about the children. They had a great time drawing self portraits, making mind-maps of what made them unique! We partied the day away with ice-creams and having a go on the bouncy castle. What a great way to break-up for half term!

Pine class explored coding and created codes with ‘if’ and ‘variable’ commands. They were systematical and methodical in their coding and had lots of fun coding their micro:bits to play Rock, Paper, Scissors.

Our research shows 6 in 10 parents and carers of young children wish they'd known earlier how important it is to read together. That's why we work with a range of Early Years practitioners and settings, supporting families to share stories from the earliest days.
