Exploring nature and art in the classroom! Today, my students took a nature walk, collecting treasures to press into clay. Each student was provided with the same amount of clay, but were provided minimal instruction to allow individual creativity.

We plant pollinator friendly flowers each year at our home, have a compost bin, have raised garden beds, just purchased a rain barrel and plan to include many more herbs this year.

Art today was looking at the different parts that make up a bee. Seeing those different shapes come together to form the body.
