This afternoon we are working in groups to create information posters about different aspects of Viking life.

After studying the book 'How to Train Your Dragon' by Cressida Cowell in English this half term, we are comparing some of the characters from the book with the ones in the film.

Thanks to southribbleSGO for hosting the indoor athletics at the Priory last night. The children had a great time performing in front of everybody and did the school proud. Well done to all involved!🏃

Year 4 are using the Anglo-Saxon wergild system to work out how much compensation a victim would have received in Anglo-Saxon times for a missing body part!

Great work in Maths this morning, using the style of the artist Mondrian to create pictures that meet given areas of colour.

Year 4 are creating their own creatures. They will then become 'experts' on these creatures, creating a non-chronological report about them.

The Business Club teams have begun their marketing campaign and will be putting up posters around school soon. They will also be presenting in Assemblies as we get closer to the Expo on 2nd December.

It's BBC Children in Need on Friday! Children in school are invited to come dressed up in their best dance gear and donate £2 to this fantastic cause. We can't wait to see everyone's outfits!

Year 4 completed their herb garden this week. First of all we cleared the raised bed and then discussed with our head chef what herbs would be useful for cooking with.We also considered height and spread of each herb when planting🌿 Mrs Livesey Y4 @RHSSchools #herbs

It's concert week! The children are so excited to perform their plays and carol service for their families this week. Please note there are four tickets per family for infant plays and two tickets per family for each junior performance. We can't wait to see you there!
