Nothing beats the first week back from maternity leave, being greeted with huge smiles and hugs from students. 🥹 Their joy makes the transition back a little easier and reminds me why I love this work. 🤍

Watching her shine reminds me how important it is to notice and celebrate small wins, for kids and for ourselves. Joy fuels resilience, and even little moments of recognition can make a big impact on mental health. 💛

✨Sometimes the best coping tools are the simplest ones! Play-Doh People, a fun way to calm our minds, express emotions, and get creative while working on coping skills. 💛🧠

Trauma occurs when sensory information comes in too much and too fast, or for too long and too little... It can stun the nervous system, BUT when we have a trusted other, and our anchors to resource our nervous systems, this overwhelm can be mitigated!

🎃 Had an absolute blast at Trunk or Treat! Loved seeing all the creativity, costumes, and smiles. Events like these remind me how powerful connection and community are for our mental health

Costumes are fun, but feeling like you belong is the best part of today 🧡 Making sure every student feels seen, included, and supported.

Veterans Day is truly one of my favorite days of the year. It’s always extra special to honor and celebrate the brave men and women who have served our country. Thank you, Veterans!
