It's our first Pupil Of The Week in 2nd Class for the month of November... and this week, our winner is our pal ARCHIE after a spectacular week! Maith thú ARCHIE!

Another week down in 2nd Class and time for another Pupil Of The Week! This week, after a gigantic effort, our star pupil is.... NATHAN! What a super week - maith thú NATHAN!

We had a fab time last Monday with week 1 of Baking for Fun in our class! Gemma along with some super volunteer parents and Mr. Coghlan came to 2nd Class and helped us to make tasty hedgehog cookies with chocolate spikes and eyes! We're SO excited for week 2 tomorrow morning!

Some of the outstanding work in 2nd Class last week as we learned a little about World Wars I and II, the poppy and Remembrance Day. We also learned about an art technique called negative space - and putting both together, we made these unbelievable pieces of art. Stunning!

1/2 We had a BLAST for the 2025 Kahoot! Cup last Wednesday! Plenty of things that we know LOTS about - KPop Demon Hunters, 6/7 , Minecraft and more! The message of the event was simple - we are more alike than we are different....

2/2 We had a BLAST for the 2025 Kahoot! Cup last Wednesday! And we saw that we are more alike than different as boys & girls from over 70 countries around the world like the same things as we do!  Thanks to Mr. Steve Auslander for running the event and for inviting us to take part!

SNOW joking about here in 2nd Class! As the weather has gotten colder, and with Winterval starting this Friday, it was a good time to make some 3D snowmen! These fab pieces are from the perspective of a drone, looking straight down at a snowman. Awesome artists in 2nd Class! ☃️⛄️

Friday again already! The time is flying! Friday of course means it's 2nd Class Pupil Of The Week and today, it's a big win for our buddy ICARO for a super week! Maith thú ICARO!

We made some Polar Bear Cakes in Baking for Fun last wk! The final session in 2nd Class is tomorrow morning and Gemma has promised us something "FESTIVE" - we think we're going to make something Christmassy! 🎅⛄ Full gallery coming soon on our class page on the school website!

Another Friday has rolled around and that means another 2nd Class Pupil Of The Week! After a hugely positive week, our winner is MIGUEL!!! Maith thú MIGUEL!

And! It's not just Friday - it's the end of November and that means it's time for our 2nd Class Pupil Of The Month! It's been a long and busy month and our very deseving winner is... KENNAXIE!!! What an amazing month! Maith thú KENNAXIE!

Last Monday was the last Baking for Fun 😭 But it was great fun! We made reindeer poop! 🦌 Again we had help from super parents without whom we couldn't have had Baking for Fun! Full galleries of all 3 weeks and a highlights video are on our class' page on the school website!
