Year 1 enjoyed learning how to skip today in the sunshine ☀️. We enjoyed being active and even managed to skip together in pairs 🏆 Humberstone Sport

We had a fantastic time competing in the Year 1 Sports Day today 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️. Super proud of 1SR for all trying their best and for being the fastest class overall 🏆. I think we might have some future Olympians in our class 🏅 Humberstone Sport

In Year 1 we applied all our Maths learning from this year to Hangman 🔍. We had to answer a Maths challenge question to be allowed a chance to guess a letter in the code! It was no problem for our class full of superstar mathematicians ⭐🔢 @HIAMrsSmith Miss Coulson

In Year 1 this week we've developed our map skills by researching and plotting where different types of spiders can be found in the world 🕷🌍. We were delighted to find out that we don't have any tarantulas running wild in the UK 😅 @HIAMrsSmith @HIAMissNewman

This week in 1SR we have had class races to help us understand ordinal numbers 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️, created messy maps of our classroom to show others what it looks like and put ourselves in the shoes of Goldilocks to describe her 👱‍♀️. And it's only Wednesday! @HIAMrsSmith Mrs Hurley

It's been an emotional last day saying goodbye at Humberstone Infants, I've worked with some amazing people and I have been lucky enough to have the three best classes in the school 🏆. I look forward to hearing all about your future adventures 💙
