Hello everyone! I’m at St. Teresa's School teaching Grade 5 this year. Today we are learning about weather with the help of Let's Talk Science MUN, St. John's We made a cloud out of thin air!

Today we had some student created activities featured in our work word station, during literacy block. Thanks goes to A for sharing this idea and letting me make a copy for the class.

We have been working on instructional writing for the last week. Today, we put the grade 5 classes to the test in there skills, versus AI! So, who followed the instructions better? AI or the 5’s?

On Monday, we used our measurement and technology skills to 3D print dreidels for Hanukkah.

We had an awesome trip over to Twin Rinks for a skating session today. Big thanks to Ron Cadigan Fdn. for graciously covering the cost of ice time for these students to try out this wonderful winter sport! Big thanks also goes to Bishop Abraham Elementary for letting us borrow their skates.

Having a blast on the last day finishing some math, learning about traditions, playing outside, and enjoying a sing-along. Have a great holiday break everyone!
