The less we talked about standardized testing the better our scores got. When we stopped with homework, kids did more passion projects. When we quit giving grades the question became “can I try this?” instead of “what did I get?” What we learn for pleasure we never forget.

Even if that means graphic novels. Graphic novels develop visual literacy, are packed with high level vocabulary, and assist comprehension.

Love hyperdocs. The handbook will hopefully give me additional ideas on using them as a media specialist. As a former classroom teacher I taught sketchnoting to my students, and believe in it as a learning tool. The Chromebook Infused Classroom a great resource to have on hand.

Spot on!!! There are times for quiet but classroom conversation is a good thing, particularly when students are engaged.
