Found this movie for $1.25 in the thrift store. Don't normally go in for religious films, (le Poseidon is the god of the ocean in French,) but can't wait to give it a look. Pretty sure it's all about a boat of sinful people who invoke the wrath of the deity. Should be fun!!

Gray Lee fans: Hope all three of you are able to catch this ultra rare apperance by singer/songwriter Gray Lee - now best known as the person of interest over at Houdini Mansions. I'm somewhere near the end of the thing. More details soon.

Going to be posting some of my art today and maybe talking about it a little.

The first cover art illustration I completed for my label, Houdini Mansions was for HMR002 - Andrew Weathers/ Blaine Todd. The color pallete and subject matter are based on Industrial Workers of the World art throughout the 20th century. I wanted landscape, factories, but conspicuous absense of smoke.

The second houdini mansions cover art I did was for House of Cake/ Secret Slice. This one is based on old turn-of-the-century advertising ephemera. Think "Clobber Girl." I wanted it to look like a box of cake mix you'd find in an abandoned house your mother forbade you to enter.

Next I worked on HMR003 - Higeki by ll nøthing ll. llnθthingll had released it digitally in late 2018 and it already had cover art. So I reimagined it. Higeki means tragedy and I wanted to capture the sadness and terror of the original image while giving it an illustrative twist.

Working on a set of music for a stream thing and honestly it's kind of refreshing. Haven't done a gig in probably 3 years or longer. I've played out, but not a proper show. Closest thing was Voidfest last month.

Just follow your dreams. Are they crazy? Sure. Who cares? Do it anyway. I just started building an adventure map in minecraft again because I've always wanted to. I've got lots of dreams, that's one of them. Just go for it.
