Lovely afternoon chatting to pupils from St Silas CE Primary School as they visited Parliament. One of the best parts of my job is being able to welcome schools in Liverpool Riverside to my workplace - and have them question me!

Well done to our amazing Values Award winners. They've all demonstrated the value of friendship this half term, and we're really lucky to have them as role models in our school family.

I'm so proud of these two Y5 pupils. They brought some persuasive writing about reducing plastic waste to show me, and it was incredible! Well done!

It's World Book Day UK 📚 next Thursday, and we're ready to read! Every child will receive a free World Book Day book, and we'd love parents/carers to join us for a reading picnic. We'll be having a reading picnic for EYFS and KS1 at 8:40am and for KS2 at 3:00pm. See you there!

These children were invited to the opening of the new Basement at the The Florrie. They had an amazing time and came back saying that it was the best day ever! Thanks to everyone at The Florrie 🌟!

We celebrated World Art Day with an amazing day of artist appreciation and creativity. Each class chose an artist. We then studied them and created art inspired by them. You can come and see our work in the Silas Art Gallery Exhibition every day this week!
