Hey everyone!! I’m about to start my field experience in elementary, and was wondering… what are some of the most exciting activities you’ve gotten to teach at that level?? #PhysEd Thanks!

Anybody know how to repair rubber critters? Or if it’s even possible? They are showing signs of all the #PhysEd live they have received over the years!!

Younger Ss working on jumping playing LillyPads. Frogs must make it across the pond without getting caught by the alligators. Frogs are safe if they are on their lillypads. #physed #lillypads

Football Flip! Working on football skills today (using Flip the Hoop from Coach Pirillo) Throw the football to your partner in the hula hoop. If a catch is made, flip hoop forward. If ball hits the ground, flip hoop backwards. Move the hoop across the gym to score a touchdown! 🏈

🔦 FLASHLIGHT DANCE 🔦 Had a blast collaborating with Bow Tie Music on this fun follow-along dance! Mini-flashlights are NOT required, but make it extra special! Full video here ⬇️⬇️⬇️ youtu.be/Jc2wPxnJe6Q?si… #PhysEd

Hey #physed #elemphysed teachers. Can you please share your go-to activities for TK and Kinder classes. Also anything you can share with classroom management, warm-ups, class structure, inclement weather, etc. I have each class once a week for 45 minutes and am in the grass.

Scott Keller Good Morning, I also have Kindergarten Ss once a week for 48 minutes. The beginning of class is a locomotor and movement activity around then gym (4-5 minutes) get their energy out. I then do 6-7 stations. More skills to work on with only seeing them once a week.

Scott Keller 2/ ==> Usually end with and #SEL activity. After three lessons (days) we will play a game. Still beginning class with our locomotor/running activity. Hope this helps a little.

Scott Keller Basic station activities. Similar skill but only small changes. For example we are doing rolling/bowling now. One station is a full set of regular pins, one is full set of slim pins, one is just a single cone. Same rolling/bowling skill, just a different target.
