After three days painting a quarter mile long wall, we completed the massive plumeria lei encircling the Hawaii State Capitol. This was a testament to community collaboration. Heartfelt gratitude to everyone who contributed, leaving their mark on this special mural.

If you’ve been to Island Mart at Aloha Gas, you’ve probably seen my artwork on these green bags. It's an homage to the unique habit of throwing a shaka as thanks while driving in Hawaii. Sadly, I see it less often now. Let’s bring back more shakas on the road! 🤙

Thank you to Ron Mizutani and PBS for giving my daughter aka DJ Chicken Jerky her very first interview. She conquered her fears and did a great job! She talked about her love for art, DJing, and Jiu Jitsu. As well as her aspirations to become an architect.

Here’s the new gi I designed with Kekoa Collective, inspired by the cultural exchange between Japan & Brazil that shapes Jiu-Jitsu. The design draws from “boro,” a traditional Japanese textile repair technique, symbolizing the fusion of knowledge that led to Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

My first Jiu Jitsu Con is a wrap, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience! Huge thanks to the Kekoa Collective family for an unforgettable time. I’m blown away that the gis I designed sold out! Thank you!

Had a rewarding day prepping for the Hawaii Walls Festival in Kalihi! Huge thanks to Hawaiian Airlines, Aloha Gas, and Nordic PCL for spending their Saturday helping us beautify public schools. The day was full of paint, laughter, and community. Big thanks to everyone involved!

We spent a beautiful Sunday at the breathtaking Hanauma Bay, soaking up the sun and recharging before the busy week of painting begins. It was the perfect way to relax, unwind, and get ready for the creative energy ahead!

The first day of Hawaii Walls 2024 is officially in the books, and we couldn’t be more excited! This week, we’re honored to bring art to life as we paint murals at three incredible public schools—Farrington High School, Kalihi Kai Elementary, and Puuhale Elementary.

Day 2 of Hawaii Walls 2024 is officially in the books! The schools are coming to life with vibrant colors, and it’s been incredible to see the students getting involved. They’ve been stopping by to admire the art and even leave their own marks on the murals.

It was a day well spent painting the vibrant schools of Kalihi, followed by an incredible art show hosted by Thinkspace at the Gangway Gallery. The night wrapped up perfectly with an unforgettable caricature roasting session, courtesy of the talented Ninja Sketch and Salah.
