Views from the gym - first week back! Primary students played “Freedom Noodle Tag” and “Birds in the Nest”, Juniors used balance, co-ordination, and teamwork to complete relay challenges and build Hula-Hoop castles! Gateway PS Mikki Hymus

Views from the gym: Primary classes kicked off our indoor soccer unit with “Pin Knockout Soccer”. Players practiced kicking, trapping, spatial awareness, and MOST importantly, “keeping their heads on a swivel!” Gateway PS Mikki Hymus

Views from the gym! Primary students worked on their target skills with “Castle Knockout”, trying to knock over the opposing cones and castles. Juniors played “Crazy Ball Soccer”, a game which features multiple balls to refine coordination and spatial awareness. Gateway PS

This week our Grade 2-6 students are having a blast during our cricket workshop thanks to Ontario Schools Cricket Association! Gateway PS

Views from the gym! Students played “Soccer Cricket”, a hybrid version of Cricket and Soccer Baseball. Lots of engagement and fun for everyone. This is an extension/modification of cricket. It’s a blast. Gateway PS
