I am saddened to learn of Sonia Kaplan’s passing. I met this amazing woman, a Holocaust survivor, when I helped to arrange her visit to LAHS a few years ago. I will forever treasure the book she signed for me and her great advice: “Do not let your past control your future.”

Congrats to my son Kade and all of the Dodgers on their home opener win tonight. Kade went 0-3 but looked good in his fielding at third.

I am proud to announce that Northern Lehigh School District MS teacher, Mrs. Bariana, has been awarded the "Master of Mathematics" for Jr. High and Middle-Level math instruction by the PA Council of Teachers of Mathematics. Mrs. Bariana will receive this honor at the annual PCTM conference.
