Grateful for all the amazing chaperones, judges, and volunteers who made it possible to host the largest DECA District event in North Carolina yesterday, giving our students an incredible experience!

Treat the custodian with the same respect as the principal. Every person in the school building is a leader and you would be surprised how many kids talk to the custodian, bus driver, cafeteria staff because of trust. Don’t underestimate “non” teachers. We’re ALL teachers! ❤️

Grateful to be part of such an amazing cohort in the UNC School of Education MSA program! Huge thanks to Dr. Meredith Maier, Jason Johnson, Adam Lutterloh, and Cherokee McAdoo for sharing their wisdom and inspiring us in Organizational Management.

Proud of our DECA officers for achieving Thrive Level by completing the community service, ethical leadership, promotional, and membership campaigns! Excited for the opportunity to send our future leaders to Thrive Academy at ICDC in Orlando this April!

Thank you, Dr. Meredith Maier , for welcoming me to New Hope Elementary & giving me a glimpse into the life of an elementary school administrator! As someone with only high school experience, it was eye-opening and inspiring. I’m excited to determine my AP internship placement soon!

Amazing to see students advocating for opportunities that shape future leaders! Investing in DECA and CTSOs isn’t just about funding clubs—it’s about equipping tomorrow’s entrepreneurs, innovators, and community leaders. #CTEMonth

Celebrated CTE Month with our DECA officers at the NCACTE (NC Career And Technical Education ) Legislative Seminar! CTSOs like DECA empower students with real-world skills, leadership, and career readiness. Now, we’re off to Greensboro with 180+ Green Hope DECA members for the NCDECA Career Development Conference!

7. It is important to note that this move by the administration will not get rid of all functions of the department. Programs that will stay: -Pell Grant Funding -Title I Funding -Resources for children with disabilities and special needs

This semester, my Entrepreneurship 2 students experienced District C Teamship—a powerful opportunity to collaborate, think critically, and solve a real business challenge from Vaco. Real problems. Real teamwork. Real growth. Proud of their hustle this semester!

To every teacher as you wrap up the year and recharge for next year. This is for you... You deserve more. More pay. More respect. More recognition. You should be treated like the professionals you are—because that’s exactly what you are. And yet, even when the system falls

There is a big difference between being firm and mean. It is possible to be one without the other. Kids respect firm. They might not like it, but they respect it. Mean often makes them want to quit! #teachers #coaches #thatonekid #PositiveDiscipline #RespectfulTeaching
