This dog's name was Gunner. My uncle brought him back from WW2. He was raised and slept under my uncle's anti- aircraft gun. The gun crew shared their rations to feed him. By the time he was 18 months old, my uncle said he would stand up and look at the sky. If he laid back down

I disagree with Fraser on this - not least as it isn’t just the already-wealthy leaving but the ambitious, entrepreneurial young who are flocking to the Gulf (and soon Poland/Baltics, I suspect). The opportunity cost is massive and as-yet unrecognised.

Peroration from Robert Jenrick’s speech at the Roger Scruton conference today: “In the words of George Orwell, ‘nothing ever stands still. We must add to our heritage, or lose it. We must grow greater or grow less. We must go forward or backward.’ I say, let’s go forward.”

I see politicians from Labour, Reform, Tories and others moaning about this and that - expensive housing, unsafe streets, the boats, NHS waiting lists. Yet they all fail to properly debate the one policy that would make a genuine and immediate difference. DEPORT EVERY ILLEGAL

UK to lose 16,500 millionaires this year (new Henley report). Ridiculous needs saying but tax people too much and they will leave....

'‘Clarkson’s Farm’, the fourth season of which recently concluded on Amazon, is a remarkable artefact. 'Not even had they wished on a magic lamp could critics of Britain’s sclerotic state been handed a more potent weapon than one of this country’s most charismatic TV

Louise Jones MP A few points: 1) We don't care she is woman, but we do care if she is a Group Captain in charge of a sensitive RAF air-base ONLY because she is a woman. 2) We don't object to women in the military rising to high rank, we do object however when a silly little girl barely able to

Six police officers turned up at our house to arrest both myself and my wife in front of our three terrified children for a ‘non hate’ social media crime. After a two month police investigation, all charges against us were dropped due to ‘lack of evidence.’ I’ve posted the full

You can't dislike the legacy broadcast news media enough. Look how all the other journalists from rival outfits are sitting there like stones refusing to clap a journalist who did sterling work to bring to public attention the grooming gangs scandal and institutional cover up.

Daisy Dog Reform UK I hope they reconsider, particularly Richard Tice MP 🇬🇧. A Labour MP has signed. To have Conservative, Labour and Reform support would be very powerful indeed. This isn’t about party politics, it’s about Lucy Connolly and others like her. We must free the political prisoners.

This is pathetic. Starmer must not pull this bill. We’ve offered to support him in the national interest if our reasonable conditions are met. If he pulls the bill, it proves Labour isn’t serious about fiscal responsibility. If Labour backbenchers are too scared to deliver

Quit looking at the New York Democrat primary in policy terms. It’s a demographic story. If you have uncontrolled third world immigration, your elections become a demographic headcount. See London for details. Policy positions on tax or education become incidental

The Speaker is useless He makes no effort to force anyone to answer a question He's achieved the impossible and made the Commons even more pointless
