Finishing our first block of forces in P7A today. Lots of enquiry surrounding air resistance today in the for, of gliders and parachutes. Children also explored some of our new free play stations such as K’nex, make do and Binca. This will be developing over the coming weeks.

Primary 5B learned all about how we can classify objects, humans and animals. We looked at different characteristics such as vertebrate and invertebrates and then further categorised based on this.

P7 continued their enquiry of the big question ‘how do we use plants?’ They are showing their findings in various different formats and will share these with their peers next week.

P7A are learning all about inherited and environmental characteristics. They looked at DNA, created monsters through decoding, recalled some personal information and some even began to create a basic family tree.

Using technology to support our learning in lots of different ways today with Joe Blyth today. We had some pupil led research about extinct animals and helped us to understand the concept of area.
