We've deployed psychosocial volunteers to support Adriano & Ελληνικός Ερυθρός Σταυρός - Hellenic Red Cross in Rhodes following the #wildfires. Our volunteers are specially trained to provide emotional and practical support which considers the needs of individuals, couples, families and groups.

Appalled by the worrying escalation of armed violence in Israel and Gaza Strip. Civilian lives and infrastructures, healthcare workers and facilities, humanitarian teams Magen David Adom PRCS are not a target, must be respected and protected in every situation.

Our Emergency Response teams are actively supporting communities affected by #StormBabet across Scotland, Wales, and Northern and Central England. Volunteers have been deployed to rest centres, including #Catcliffe, Rotherham where there has been significant flooding. ⬇

Disturbing video: healthcare workers & ambulances are #NotATarget! PRCS volunteers and staff must be protected. Even war has rules! The Red Cross was born in a battlefield. After 164 years we still have to see these unacceptable scenes.

The King's Award for Voluntary Service aims to recognise outstanding local volunteering groups across UK. Created in 2002 to celebrate the anniversary of Queen Elizabeth II Coronation, it is the highest award given to local volunteer groups and is the equivalent to an MBE.
