Today a guest speaker came to discuss personal pronouns and gender neutral greetings with staff at a district I support. One of the greetings was “peep-a-doodles”. Totally using that from now one. Love it!!

This weekend I read Book 1 of #Maus. It had been on my list of books to check out, but I will admit I bought it due to the recent events around it. The book was amazing, and I highly recommend it.

I was today years old when I learned “Control + /“ in Google slides (Cmd + / for Mac) brings up a searchable keyboard shortcut list specifically for slides. Super cool!!

Has anyone seen where students are unable to access an open Pear Deck Learning session? If using the access code we are told no session exists, if we use the join link we get the error shown below. Only affecting this SPECIFIC session. Weird #peardeck

So far I have heard 3 separate groups of elementary students walk in to the library to select books and all say “Weird But True” and then giggle bc of the natural pause before ‘true’. Not gonna lie…makes me giggle every time too.

Clear objectives. Properly scaffolded skills. Clear, and actionable feedback. Support and belief. Effective teaching is one of the most amazing skills out there.
