Hello everyone! Doing a slow #TGEChat I’m Will, 5th grade teacher in Michigan. I was born on a farm in southern Minnesota so I speak English, but mostly in the form of idioms.

A1- The longer I teach the more I see the value in being more clear and concise with my language. I also provide my students more discussion opportunities than I did early in my career. As for my gamified room, changing the language has made a huge impact! #TGEChat

A2- In my gamified classroom the immersion of my students when I started being intentional with my language changed drastically. The biggest change was I rarely utter the word test. Boss battle brings a whole difference energy of excitement. #TGEChat

It is always bitter sweet to end one of my favorite map quests of the year: “Escape from Arkham”. But ending it with the SOS activity from #emc2learning is always such a great fit. All 3 clowns were sus’d out and we took care of the Joker in the end…barely.😉 #xplap
