Coaching defense at a small school is tougher than a large school.

0-10, 1-9, 2-8 coaches are often times coaching harder on a daily basis than coaches who are 10-0, 9-1, 8-2 etc. No one wants to lose and just because your record isn’t great doesn’t mean you can’t coach
