Ashley Booth Loved this idea and as a staff we decided to do 30 second videos. They were warm and welcoming. Parents / children loved it! Thanks for the prompt. 👍🏻
Popcorn Andrew struggles with anxiety, and the little kernel of worry in his stomach is getting hotter and hotter... Can he make it through the day without popping? anewchapterbooks.com/product-page/p… Rob Harrell
1st mystery delivery of the term from A New Chapter - Children's Bookstore and look at these! Got it delivered to school and opened it with some of the kids which is pretty much the best end to a day you can have.👍 Emma Carroll 🇺🇦 #laurenchild Gabriel Dylan 🏄 James Fox Andy Griffiths
My Y4s are now halfway through the incredible Llama Out Loud, and it's made a *huge* difference taking a moment to summarise the plot so far, before starting and finishing story time each day. Ashley Booth has suggested this before; it really ensures the plot is accessible to all.
Teaching 'rules' of speech today and always go back to the speech sandwich. My favourite way of doing it in UKS2. Example courtesy of The Literacy Company
Michael Tidd Ashley Booth Alex Rawlings have you ever challenged a SATs marking review and if so do you know the avenue for this? Doesn’t fill you with confidence of their process when this is still supposedly incorrect…
Ashley Booth It’s great. Best feature is you can click specific question types, then ‘new’, and it will then *only* show those question types for however many questions you want. I use it all the time in y4.
Thank you A New Chapter - Children's Bookstore! My Y5 book club is ready to go! I went through the blurb and read the EPIC prologue to them on Friday and they cannot wait to get started. And I can't wait to read this all over again! A.F. Steadman
