Couldn't be more excited to start my masters thesis with Andy Lowther from @NorskPolar! I will be studying the status of the ringed seal population in Svalbard using drone imagery. The aim is to start long-term monitoring of this species and see population trends in the future.

🥳My dream has come true! I have won a permanent position as a researcher to study marine mammals at Instituto Español de Oceanografía (IEO-CSIC) Thanks to all my collaborators and colleagues that have supported me during the journey.

Guess who's going to Perth for the Marine Mammal Biology Conference Marine Mammalogy this November? So excited! My first international conference, and I'll be volunteering. Hoping to meet people, learn a lot, and maybe find a spot for my PhD thesis! #PerthSMM2024
