Perspective: The U.S. has existed 249 yrs. For 189 of them, it had slavery or segregation. That’s 76% of its history. If you start from 1619… It’s 346 of 406 yrs… About 85%. Isn’t ignoring such a massive portion of Americas past “erasing history”?
