I'm quite nervous about where things are headed, but this does seem like an angle that the opposing crowd in the United States fails to take into consideration.
Add Ukraine's ability to resist Russian aggression and Israel's success against LH, and you get an important lesson about the inability of US analysts and policy makers to accurately assess military conflicts. Doesn't necessarily make this particular course if action wise.

It's fascinating to me that the reaction with the Jewish community to something like this is very often "see, they hate Israel no matter what" rather than "Israeli policy impacts American views of Israel."
