Why boys don't read as much as girls: reason #237

I've made an effort over past few years to read more female authors. Foolishly, I used to think I clicked better with male writers when, in reality, I was often just ignoring books written by women. Just finished this incredible book, which I wouldn't have read in the idiot days:
