Today, I spent 30 mins photocopying and trimming English resources which ( I later realised) I had already printed and trimmed on Monday.

We’re heading into the final three days of our final placement! 😬

I’m so excited have a year 5 class in September! 🤩

I’m teaching a yr 5 class in a lovely school, from September. For the next few weeks, I’ll also be teaching there on supply (working with yr 3 and yr 6). I can’t wait to meet the staff and children!

It’s my first EVER (paid) day as a primary school teacher, today! ARRRRGGGHHHHHH!

Two days of supply at my new school were great! To top it off, my new classroom has A SINK! I’m, frankly, over-the-moon.

If you are just starting a PGCE/School Direct, I can recommend HIGHLY the use of digital note-taking! 💻📲 I took notes on my laptop for every lecture including links, pictures and important log-ins. Then, you can search your notes (quickly) for something specific! 👍

I wonder if anyone else sings the chorus to Zombie (by The Cranberries) when your encouraging your class to calculate, ‘IN YOUR HE-AD! IN YOUR HE-E-E-AD!’ 🎶➕➕🧮🎵
