Town Centre Team taking part in targeted ASB and Violence Against Women And Girls patrols today spotted a vehicle which looked odd. Quick check showed the vehicle was related to a sexual assault in the counties and an arrest soon followed. Cross border working at finest.

We have laid on extra patrols for the Freshers week focusing on protecting women around the town. Proactive patrols lead to the arrests of two men who were in possession of various illegal pills as well as searching & dispersing others who were approaching lone females.

Shoplifting is completely unacceptable. Today some of our PCSOs detained a male stealing from Sianburys. Turns out he was a prolific thief currently on bail for ….. shoplifting! Cell space arranged a remand to court in the morning.
