“I was inspired to hear you organizing for change. ALL Amazon workers — whether picking, stowing, packing, driving, or cleaning — deserve better treatment and pay. Solidarity with workers demanding $25 now.” -Yery, janitor at Amazon warehouses

When we fight, we win! 🎉 Moments after St. Louis Amazon workers marched on the boss demanding $25/now, and NJ, NY, and ATL workers amplified the demand, we're seeing that Amazon will be offering workers' their most significant raise in years. cnbc.com/2024/09/18/ama…

BREAKING: Warehouse workers successfully pressured #Amazon into giving them their biggest raise in years! We'll be keeping up the fight until the company offers folks a TRUE living wage.

Chris Manno, Amazon STL8 worker in STL MO told Ars Technica: "We put smiles on billionaires' faces, and we feel it's prime time for a real raise for the employees. There's too many of us struggling with food and housing, yet Andy Jassy took home over $14,000 an hour last year."

Amazon News Let's give some credit to the folks at Missouri Workers Center and workers across the country who organized to demand this raise -- and who won't stop til they get an actual living wage!

About 45 mins after the workers' rally in St. Peters began, Amazon announced it is increasing the hourly wage from $20.50/hr to $22. #STL8 worker Ash Judd responded: “We made this $1.50 raise happen through our tireless organizing, and we’ll keep fighting until we reach $25.”
