Today in Galmudug the election ended on a high note with 9 women elected to the House of the People (24%).  After a difficult election your victory resonates with the inspirations of the women of Galmudug. Special thanks to the President of Galmudug, DSRSG, UNDP, UN Women & EISA.

MoWHRD-GM participated in a 3 day RBM training held at Airport hotel organized by UN Women and UNDP.

A two days’ workshop was concluded today on human rights and humanitarian law standards training for police in Galmudug to improve the standard of policing in the state.  UNSOM

A ray of hope sprouted in Dhusamareeb with the formation of Hayaanka Nabada a women peace network with support from UN Women for peaceful co-existence.
