I agree…this is one of the few times that I think it’s for the better. I feel like they are rising to the occasion as opposed to making significant changes to generate mass appeal. This isn’t TROS, Fast X or Final Reckoning, they’re making the best movie they can

The only thing these movies have in common is being a departure from where their trilogies were initially headed. Bad in Scream’s case, great in Halloween’s case because Ends is the only DGG film to do something fresh with the franchise! It was just an odd time to do so lol

I’m a little surprised it’s taken this long because this is one of the few Pixar movies I ACTUALLY want a sequel to. That cancelled sequel sounded great and Mike and Sully are fun characters to see at different stages of their life! If they got a good story, let’s do this thing
