Texas lawmakers have turned their backs on Texas public schools by passing SB 2, a bad voucher bill. Time and again, Texans have said no to vouchers, but Governor Abbott has kept the special interests of a wealthy few over our local public schools.

After years of opposition and outrage. After millions spent to unseat anti-voucher Republicans. After bending the rules in an attempt to quietly push it forward. After refusing to allow voters to decide. Greg Abbott and every lawmaker who cowered to him should be ashamed.
