#physicalactivity I am surprised and disappointed to see this latest number. I applaud the academics and advocates to make positive change. It is a deeply entrenched situation. Time to think about radical changes such as 4 day week, universal basic income, and free PA facilities.

Delighted to be delivering a workshop next week at this event at Durham Institute for Medical Humanities - my workshop is an invitation to consider, experience and do 'palliative time' both discursively and non-discursively, through movement (solo and in-relation), stillness, reading and discussion

Our most recent event explored ways of doing research that embed – as well as take seriously – creativity, care and moving bodies. You can read all about what we got up to here! 👇 medhumsplatform.org/care-aesthetic…

Feeling inspired by the work of MovBodLab-IMH particularly how thinking aesthetically can help us better understand physical activity. Moving is artful! #QRSE2024 QRSE 2024

What fabulous symposiums at the first day of QRSE 2024. Wonderful women scholars shared the practices of the Moving Bodies Lab, which is a core part of the Discovery Research Platform in Medical Humanities at Durham University. Cassandra Phoenix #QRSE2024

Looking forward to collecting my thoughts from #QRSE2024. Highlight for me was the keynote by Janelle Joseph and her invitation to consider how we can decolonise qualitative research in sport and exercise. Where are we in relation to the theories and methods we work with?
