"People who say such things show that they are looking for a country of their own. If they had been thinking of the country they had left, they would have had opportunity to return. Instead, they were longing for a better country—a heavenly one." Hebrews 11:14-15

Evil cannot create anything. It can only taint and coopt good things. Meaning that, in Christ, anything created by man has the potential to point us heavenward, however small that potential may be.

Depending on how it was described, If you'd told 18 year old me what 45 would feel like, I might not have wanted it. I've opened up to my feelings, reduced the number of my propositional beliefs and, in many ways, I feel like a child. But I wouldn't go back to 18 for anything.

All experience is, in a way, an experience of truth. But experience is not the truth. Like scripture, it is layered and can be misused.
