I've been playing Magic for more than half my life, and it really hurts that the game apparently has nothing interesting left to say or do. I don't really blame the designers or artists, some of whom I've met in person and are wonderful people. It's a much larger problem to me.

My exact feelings

1- this set reaaaaally has to have an incredible Limited format, I don't wanna be around if it turns out it sucks at that 2- going back to "normal" sets after the dopamine-jetfueled one is gonna hit so hard that we might just have dopamine-overdose only sets for a while.

The bar wasn't set very high after Legacy but France snobbed yet again feels just terrible

I understand the move on an economical standpoint. I actually do. But no heads up for a 20% price hike seems hard to justify. It's probably a good time to start setting mtg aside
