The hearing of the case in which police officer Ahmed Rashid, accused of killing two young men in Eastleigh in 2017, kicks off today at Kibera Law Courts. Today, we appear before Honorable Kavedza to commence the hearing of Sgt. Rashid's case. This follows the court's ruling on April 17, 2023, against an application filed by his counsel to bar the intended prosecution for murder.
