Sabres have talked about getting bigger and being tougher to play against. Geertsen fits the bill and has spent bulk of his career in the AHL. 6’4”, 230lbs. Massive presence to an already solid group reforming in Rochester should he go to Amerks

I think there was at least some curiosity as to what changes were coming for the Amerks next year. If this is any indiciation, the team will remain in a win now window. Terrific depth pieces for Buffalo who have proven track records of being impact players in the AHL

Odds are Topias ends up in an Amerks jersey sooner than later. Spent last season playing in Sweden after growing up in Finland. Now, he’s ready to be a pro in North America 🥅
