Day 2 of our grassroots consultations is taking place at Naiku village, Bumbobi S/C #Mbale! Citizens are reflecting on cross-cutting issues affecting their community which they would like government to address as election period draws closer! Day 3 of our grassroots consultation took us to Shilombe Village, Bumbobi S/C #Mbale DLG. Among the issues raised include: 1. Access to health services 2. Access to NIRA services 3. Day 5: Budwale S/C. We’re continuing our grassroots forums & mobilization of citizens to participate in the National Voter’s Register Update process as part of their civic duty. So far, the The Electoral Commission - Uganda is doing its best to display the Voters register The NGO Forum Denmark in Uganda #SCEPA
It’s full house! The #Topowa grassroots consultations are designed to create platforms for citizens to evaluate performance of government programs ahead of the next election. Citizens are also discussing accountability and participation in decision making. The NGO Forum Denmark in Uganda
