I thought I should write this here too - and I think artists who draw both human/anthro art will understand me. I know a lot of you have been following me because of the anthro art (and designs) that I've been doing a lot over the last couple of years.

But I always drew both human/anthro art, from the moment I posted my first pictures on the Internet (and that was more than ten years ago). I've just been experiencing burnout for the last few years and for the most part I've only been drawing design commissions with animals.

I felt blocked, frustrated and tired when it came to personal art and especially drawing human characters. It really could take a lot of time, worry and energy to make even a small sketch portrait. Only this year I began to get out of this state and I felt alive.

I understand that not everyone is interested in our characters and many people would like to see more anthro art. And this art will be there! Because I'm not giving it up and will continue to draw it (and when I finish the current commissions, I'll open up slots for new ones).

But I ask you to understand that my personal art will not go away either - illustrations, simple comics or doodles. This is what keeps me sane right now, brings me joy and keeps me from getting stuck in one place. It's an important part of me, not a passing fad.
