A busy final lunchtime of the term! Ahead of all that holiday reading, we got crafty and designed some new bookmarks to take home and keep.

Domilis and Murdo cracked out their magic tricks. We cannot figure out how either trick was achieved, except through wizardry.

Sophie was announced the winner of our Deer Hunt Quiz Quest. She managed to get 9 of the 10 tricky questions correct and got her very own chocolate reindeer to enjoy. Well done!

Our #ReadingLeaders were back at it over lunchtime, making plans for the term ahead. We drifted into discussing representation of different groups in books, and why visibility matters.

January is the month of Burns, so what better time to introduce a new book talk all about Scottish books to S1. Ten fantastic titles were introduced, with some being snapped up straight away!

Nathan gave me a real treat when he shared this book with me today, including teaching me some of his favourite facts about the history of Beano. So much fun!
