Breaking: Earlier this morning UIW Men's Basketball announced the signing of Miahel Tomic. Tomic is coming from Croatia where he played basketball for the national team and Bosco Institute. Miahel averaged 14 points, 9 Rebounds, and 1.2 blocks per game last season.

Breaking: UIW Football has earned a commitment from Appalachian State transfer safety Kai Fernandes. Fernandes comes to UIW with four years of eligibility remaining.

Breaking: UIW Women's Basketball has announced the signings of assistant coaches Kelsey Johnson and Danielle Sanderlin. These are the two newest additions to the coaching staff under new head coach Jhasmin Player since Wade Whaley and Rachel Baity departed the program.

Breaking: UIW Baseball has announced the hiring of Nick Zaleski to be their next head baseball coach. Zaleski was a part of the Tarlenton State coaching staff and helped them get to 32 a couple seasons ago.

Breaking: Per Larissa Jacquez's Instagram she has committed to the Duke Blue Devils. Jacquez was the ace for UIW Softball and helped UIW to a record-breaking season last season.

Breaking: Former UIW Baseball second basemen Tyler Cowan has committed to the Washington Huskies. The product from Washington State goes back home.

Breaking: Ohio Football has announced the addition of Special teams coordinator Blair Cavanaugh. Cavanaugh had a successful Special Teams unit last season that was one of the top teams in the Southland Conference. He now heads to Ohio.

Breaking: Per UIW Men's Basketball they signed big man Lewis Rowe. Rowe is a grad transfer from St. Edward's University. Lewis averaged 13 ppg, 6.2 REB, and 2 BPG. Coming into the season coach Shane Hireman and staff were looking to address the 4 and 5 and now they have done so.
