Monday 4/28 4pm: A Tornado Watch has been issued including Moore/Cleveland Co. Severe weather is not yet occurring, so now would be a great time to double-check your plans for sheltering, communicating with your family, and make any other preparations you might need.

Monday April 28 11pm: Severe Thunderstorm Warning including Cleveland County. Storm near Blanchard moving NE, hazards indicated are hail to 1" and potential winds to 60 mph.

Tuesday evening April 29th 9:20 pm: FLASH FLOOD WARNING including Moore. Line of thunderstorms moving in shortly capable of producing 2-3" additional rain.

Friday May 2nd 2:25 am: Severe Thunderstorm WARNING including Moore. Severe thunderstorms moving in from our west. Threats include 60 mph wind gusts and penny-sized hail. Moore Emergency Operations Center is operational.

2:40 pm - A tornado watch is in effect until late this evening across much of Oklahoma and western north Texas. Severe storms will develop in the next 1-3 hours with the tornado threat ramping up this evening.

4:13 pm Monday 5/19: Storm approaching from the southwest. Hail is the threat at the moment, but tornadoes could be possible with storms today.

5:10 pm Sunday May 25: Severe Thunderstorm Warning includes Moore...At 507 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Newcastle, moving northeast at 25 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail.

6:00 pm Sunday May 25: Severe Thunderstorms continue in the Moore area. A Flash Flood WARNING has also been issued due to the rain associated with the storms.

Plan to have an alternate method of receiving weather warnings Tuesday-Thursday of this week, as the NOAA Weather Radio system will be down during computer updates

Tuesday June 3 - 2:15 pm: A Severe Thunderstorm WATCH for much of Oklahoma, including Moore. Primary threats include...Scattered wind gusts/70 mph, scattered large hail events to 2", and possibly a tornado or two are possible. The Watch is in effect until 9 pm.

6/3 2:15p: The NOAA Weather Radio system appears to be working, but is scheduled to be down. Be sure to have an alternative means of alerting today!
