15 years ago, I published my first micro in a now-defunct litmag. I'll post here for anyone curious! Sundays My mother went once and never came back. My father took me there, and I prayed while he sat in the car, his window cracked, and smoked cigarettes.

If you’re rich, and you’re not finding a promising but poor artist so you can pay their rent, what are you even doing?

Such a whirlwind, successful weekend! I crushed two tennis matches and a craft presentation in Cleveland, kids crushed a soccer and flag football game, and new rescue puppy crushed first days at the dog park! #Winning

Even without your own comically archaic attempts at poetry, your suggestion that poetry β€œsells” with any frequency suggests to me that you are living in a bygone age.

There is nothing I have regretted more deeply or repeatedly than my decision to take out outrageous student loans to pursue a liberal arts degree instead of going to trade school to learn an in-demand career skill by participating in a paid apprenticeship to a master necromancer.

It’s wonderful to find respect and understanding in the same person, but I think I’m at the point where I’d rather be respected than understood. The simple reason is that few things can do more damage than a person who understands you, but chooses to disrespect you anyway.
