In the foothills of Kinder Scout you'll find the steep steps of Jacob's Ladder, leading to or from the village of Edale. It's a tricky trek whether you're going up or down, but it's lovely to rest here at the bottom, where a 17th Century packhorse bridge spans the River Noe.
