PacDev 2024 done well! Congratulations Stanford King Center on Global Development! Great feedback on my work, so good to meet old friends and colleagues, and always a pleasure to make new ones! And accidentally getting a good spot for the PacDeV 2024 selfie!

It’s a wonderful conference that I have been a part of since its inception. It attracts young researchers who have been working in South Asia, please apply. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions.

During the 1st year of my PhD, I bought a car (hard to navigate with a family without it!), one of my TAs told me ‘how do you know that you gonna survive the qualifying exams? I think it’s a bad investment!’ Well the attrition was around 40% at that time…anyways I survived..

Happy to share our latest article published in ERSS! Among other things, this paper exemplifies the crucial role of pilot experiments in paving the way for successful full-scale RCTs. Don’t rush with your RCT, the success depends on a brilliant pilot👇🏽 sciencedirect.com/science/articl…

Long-overdue on 2024 recap of cool young researcher! #econtwitter My favorite part of social media + it's exciting to highlight a year's worth of exciting researchers. (Given cross-platform posting, won't link to the original 🧵s but direct to researcher sites)

🧱🔥🌏 This #WorldEnvironmentDay, read this 🆕 study co-authored by Moogdho Mahzab in Science Magazine that found that simple modifications to operational practices at 'zigzag' kilns in #Bangladesh reduced their energy use, emissions, and fuel costs while improving brick
