The team that runs the starting gate at Woodbine Racetrack does heroic work. They are the backbone of racing. Ian Ross, our head starter, always tells me the story of missing school to come and watch Secretariat warm up and prepare for his last race that happened here in Toronto.

It’s an exciting Pepsi North America Cup night of racing at Woodbine Mohawk Park! Thousands of fans, the Hunter brothers, and London Knights fans are at the track. This is one of the biggest nights in Standardbred racing in North America.

A great night at the Pepsi North America Cup at Woodbine Mohawk Park on Saturday with many friends and thousands of racing fans including Patrick Dillon, Bob Bailey, John McCharles, and the Hunters - Dale, Mark, and Ron. We love the ponies!

Fantastic morning at the annual owner’s breakfast at Woodbine Mohawk Park Mohawk Park watching qualifiers, seeing the 100+ horses in the paddock, and meeting the hundreds of owners and workers who train and care for them. Great way to start a Saturday.
