I’m really honored to have been interviewed for the The RNA Society Spotlight. I owe a lot to the RNA community when I was a trainee! For anyone that has additional questions about the transition to industry, please feel free to get in contact with me!
I’ve been receiving such great feedback and questions about my talk International mRNA Health Conference! If you can’t find me, please stop by the New England Biolabs booth and pick up a pamphlet. It links to our papers which details everything I presented and more!
Please check out our latest GEN article from Dr. Bijoyita Roy's group New England Biolabs where we offer advice on how to reduce the immune response triggered by synthetic mRNAs! genengnews.com/resources/tuto…
Turns out there is a lot of debate about how to correctly pronounce enzyme names. Thanks to Jason "boundless delight " Williams for pointing out that a definitive resource was lacking... it took us a few months, but you can now find enzyme name pronunciation on all New England Biolabs RE product pages.
New year, new paper! Super proud to have worked with Dr. Bijoyita Roy and the New England Biolabs team on characterization of thermostable RNA polymerases and the effect of high temperature transcription! m.rnajournal.cshlp.org/content/early/…
Effective #RNA therapeutics that minimize immune response is a challenge. Monica Wu, PhD Dr. Bijoyita Roy and colleagues' recent publication in The RNA Society, "Synthesis of low immunogenicity RNA with high-temperature in vitro transcription." sheds some light. nebiolabs.com/36G9ZS7
The 5th annual #TREnD2020 conference is fast approaching - we're just six months away now! Excited to announce Dr. Laura Landweber as our keynote speaker this year Laura Landweber 🎉 #FiveYearsTREnDing
I live 50 miles away from the Canadian border. You don't take out your wallet or your credit card when you go to the doctor or the hospital there. If Canada can provide health care to all its people at half the cost, we can join the rest of the world and pass Medicare for All.
Calling all RNA enthusiasts! 🗣️ We have an exciting full-time position open in our team!! This is a great opportunity for anyone interested in both basic and applied RNA research and want to work for an amazing company (New England Biolabs)! Please pass along! neb.wd5.myworkdayjobs.com/en-US/NEB_Care…
A colorimetric assay to detect #COVID19 RNA from New England Biolabs! medrxiv.org/content/10.110…
Thank you to researchers at University of Vermont and @UVMMedCenter for focusing on #COVID19 detection. Their paper demonstrates that #coronavirus can be detected using Luna One-Step RT-qPCR directly on patient samples from a nasal swab– without RNA extraction! nebiolabs.com/33J6wS6
A sci-art collaboration in honour of #TAGC20 online. Being apart has brought all us closer together than ever. ❤️ (#Worm20: me, #Yeast20: Vivian Chen #Dros20: fruit flies like a banana 🍌 #Zfish20: Dr. Sarah Stednitz #Mammals20: Ellen Langille #Xenopus20: Scarlett Li-Williams) #PEQG20
Had a lot of fun meeting with current Department of Molecular Genetics, U of T students at the Molecular Genetics Career Development Symposium The future looks bright for Canadian science!
My amazing boss Dr. Bijoyita Roy is featured on the NEB blog and sharing our work on RNA polymerases, synthetic mRNAs and RNA vaccine development! Please check out her interview and learn about all the cool research we've been working on! neb.com/nebinspired-bl…
