Horrific news coming from Southport. My thoughts and prayers are with all of those who have been injured or witnessed this horrendous attack xxx

My son Michael would be 30 today. The last birthday we had together was his 18th & 5 wks later he was killed in a coach crash due to a 20yr old secondhand tyre. Today his friends & family will celebrate it for him. I honestly don’t know what else to do. I miss him so much 💔

12 years ago today, I lost Michael in the cruelest way. He was living his best life and was making many plans for the future, when it was cut short by a totally preventable crash on a coach because of a 20 year old tyre. That journey to Surrey still haunts me to this day 💔

Thank you to Liz, my police liaison officer for placing flowers at the special garden in Hindhead. 12 yrs on and she never forgets. Thank you also to Highways staff for tidying it up and making it feel loved. You all are very special people ❤️
