Excited to present the first ageing clock based on nucleosomics of cell-free DNA (cfDNA)! onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1111/acβ¦ β Nucleosome repeat length increases with age β Can predict age with ~3 year precision Congrats to Mariya Shtumpf, nrnflowers, Mila Bikova, Hulkar_M, Lumi Ruje!
Our study is online Molecular Cell! Compared to our preprint (see previous π§΅), we added additional evidence that transcription factor exchange is required to prolong transcriptional burst duration. Thanks reviewers for suggesting this experiment. 1/4 dlvr.it/T2yqrm
Very exciting new masters program at the Biozentrum that I look forward teaching in together with colleagues like MZavolan(Lab), Richard Neher, Knut Drescher, Ben Engel, Hiller Lab, Maria Hondele and many others in Basel. Please pass on the word to potential students!

Excited to share the latest story from the Arnaud Krebs lab EMBL ! Together with Christine Moene we used Single Molecule Footprinting to reveal that RNA Pol II occupancy occurs at surprisingly low-frequency at mammalian promoters! Thread below (β¬οΈ) 1/11
